2. Digging equipment for footings (spade shovel, post hole digger, auger)
3. Bracing materials (2x4s, wood pieces, concrete blocks, bricks, jackstands, sawhorses, etc.)
4. Tape measure and level
5. Open end wrench set, Allen and 6-lobe wrenches or bits, socket set, screwdrivers

Refer to Footing Layout and Construction Drawings for inground and bolt down footing criteria for installation. Bolt down model can be placed on either a 4" concrete slab or a concrete footing.

Attach the two swing hangers to the top rail, using the pre-drilled holes in the top rail. Apply a drop of thread locking adhesive to the bolt threads before installing bolt.

Attach the swing ropes to the two swing hangers with hardware as shown below. Attach chain link to clevis connector (on the end of the rope) and to the d-shackle. Screw in clevis bolt, align holes in bolt and clevis, and install clevis set screw.
