Power Supply Preparations
Refer to the specifications {page 4) tor information on operating times when using rechargeable battenes or dry-cell battenes
Using rechargeable batteries
Obtain the optional rechargeable batteries for SL $120
Make sure to recharge the battenes before using them The unit
cannot be used to charge rechargeable batturis other than those
specifically designed for 1

Accidental Operation
Prevention Function
èlt takes approximately

hours
to fully recharge
the
rechargable batteries
Rechargeable battenes hare a service life of approximately
300 charge-discharge cycles It the operating time on one full
charge becomes noticeably shorter than it used to be the bat-
tery has reached
the end of its service life and should be re-
placed
è You can operate the unit with the AC adaptor while recharging
the battenes but it will lengthen the recharging time
®The AC adaptor and rechargcable baticries may become warm
while recharging 1s in progress This 1s not a malfunction

After disconnecting the AC adaptor insert two

This indicator flashes on and off when the battenes are almost
oul of power Power is cut off completely a short whilc later

*The length of time the unit wall continue to operate between
when the battery indicator starts flashing and when the power
