Transmit Signal Strength Indicator/Impedance Indicator In digital/analog wire tracking mode, it indicates the current transmit signal strength; the more lit LEDs, the stronger the signal. In continuity test mode, it indicates the impedance of the tested conductor; the more lit LEDs, the less the impedance. 5.

Power knob/Sensitivity Knob Turn the knob upwards to activate the receiver's power and increase its sensitivity When the receiver is on, turn the knob downwards to decrease the sensitivity and eventually turn off the receiver. 4. Mode Indicator The mode indicator is a dual-color LED, blue indicates digital wire tracking mode and green indicates analog wire tracking mode.

Always disconnect power to the circuit to be traced before using the Wire Tracker. This instrument offers two modes for wire tracking: digital wire tracking mode and analog wire tracking mode.
