    GENERAL DESCRIPTION RISCO Group’s RWX34S Wireless Smoke and Heat Detector combines advanced technologies within a compact and streamlined design, the ideal choice for homeowners seeking the highest safety standards. Smoke is detected employing an advanced photoelectric chamber, while temperature is monitored with two separate heat sensors that measure the rate-of- rise, as well as the absolute temperature.

    SELECTING A LOCATION Smoke and heat detectors should be installed in accordance with the NFPA Standard 74 (National Fire Protection Association, Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA 02169). For complete coverage in residential units, smoke and heat detectors should be installed in all rooms, halls, storage areas, basements, and attics in each family living unit.
