ii) Insert the desired ring [C] into the
grooves of the lens frame. The flat side
of the ring must face down so the front
of the ring is even with the lens frame.
ii) Lift the side of the lens
frame up so the adapter
can be attached around
the SportDiver lens port.
6) Important:
i.
It is recommended to align the lens adapter over the phone's WIDE lens,
which is usually the highest quality phone lens.
ii.
For best results, use a wide-angle lens with optical magnification between
0.5x and 0.75x magnification, which allows closer shooting distances
while fitting the subject into the image frame. For macro lenses, use a
lens within 3x to 10x magnification. Macro lenses will allow you to get
closer to the subject while maintaining image sharpness.
iii.
Some underwater lenses are not compatible with the phone's lens and
may result in focusing issues.
iv.
If the lens vignettes, increase the zoom until vignette disappears.
v.
The up-down screw may be attached to either side of the lens ring.
vi.
The lens weight should not exceed 1.7 lbs (750g).
vii.
After each dive, soak the lens in fresh water for about 20 minutes. Dry
lens with clean cotton cloth.
viii.
