RS26/RS30 Condux Tesmec General Information The RS26 Reel Stand provides up to 26,000 lbs of load capacity and the RS30 Reel Stand provides up to 30,000 lbs of load capacity. Both come equipped with a hydraulic negative brake, reel arbor bar and hose storage. The RS26 and RS30 also have an optional manual reel brake.
RS26/RS30 Condux Tesmec • Before carrying out any maintenance stop the machine (except for those instances indicated otherwise in this manual) and wait till the system components subject to heating have cooled sufficiently. • All the maintenance performed on this machine must be carried out on a level surface and while the system is not under load.
• The instruction manual must be kept in a sheltered and dry place. RS26/RS30 Condux Tesmec 2. Position the bearing. a. For setscrew bearing: Outside end of the bearing should be approximately even with the end of the arbor bar bearing surface. b. For eccentric locking collar bearing: i. If bar bearing surface has thin groove: align end face of bearing with groove.
RS26/RS30 Condux Tesmec iii. Use a hammer or mallet with a punch in the blind hole on the locking collar to further rotate the locking collar *in the direction of bar rotation*. iv. Tighten locking collar setscrews onto arbor bar bearing surface.
RS26/RS30 Condux Tesmec Bearing Installation for 3" Arbor Bar (for use with RS26 only) Drive End 1. Install bearing sleeve (21034242) onto arbor bar using bolt and nut. 2. Slide bearing onto sleeve—setscrew/locking collar side first. 3. Position the bearing.
RS26/RS30 Condux Tesmec ii. Once fully seated against bearing, rotate locking collar by hand *in the direction of bar rotation* to start the cam action to bind the collar against the bar. iii. Use a hammer or mallet with a punch in the blind hole on the locking collar to further rotate the locking collar *in the direction of bar rotation*.
