......(Jet Thruster Plug & Play Single systems without the digital controller) This is an example of a Single battery 12V setup (JT30 only)
Step 1: Pump Installation • Ensure that all Jet Thruster parts are adequately protected from contact with bilge water to prevent • corrosion and damage. • Install a pump-zinc anode when operating the system in saltwater to minimize corrosion risks.
Step 2: Battery Placement • Batteries should be placed directly next to the pump to minimize the battery cable length. • Utilize Optima Yellowtop batteries with a capacity of 75Ah for optimal performance. • Mount the batteries on waterproof plywood and securely fasten them to prevent movement or damage. •...

• Install the top side of the nozzle tubes approximately 7-10 cm below the waterline to maximize efficiency. • Jet Thruster nozzles work differently compared to traditional tunnel thrusters: Place the Jet Thruster nozzles close to the waterline. Avoid placing nozzles deep below the waterline, as this is NOT beneficial.

Step 4: Threaded Parts Preparation and Sealant Application • Thoroughly clean all threaded parts using brake cleaner and dry them with a clean paper towel to remove contaminants. • Apply a generous amount of polyurethane (PU) sealant to both threaded parts before connecting them to ensure a watertight seal.

Step 5: Water Inlet and Shut Off Valve Access • Ensure the ball valves are easily accessible for quick shut-off in case of emergencies. • Keep the inlet hose length to a maximum of 1 meter, although shorter lengths are preferable for better water flow •...
Step 6: Hose Routing • Use an electrical heat gun to heat up hoses for easier bending and fitting around tight corners. • Cut hoses to appropriate lengths with a sharp knife, do not use a saw • Secure hoses to the hull with bonding fasteners to prevent movement and potential damage during operation.
Step 7: Control Panel Installation • Use provided drilling template to install the control panel securely in the helm station. • Attach the front plate panel to dashboards using flexible marine sealant to ensure a watertight seal and prevent water ingress. outside max 60˚C 125˚C...
Step 8: Controller Installation (In case present in your installation) • Preferably install the controller near the switch panel for easy access and operation. • Ensure proper cable lengths for connecting the controller to the service battery (12V) via the switch panel. •...
