• Have fire extinguisher equipment handy for immediate use. A portable chemical fire extinguisher, type ABC, is recommended. • Wear ear plugs when welding overhead to prevent spatter or slag from falling into the ear. • Make sure the welding area has a good, solid, safe floor, preferably concrete or masonry, not tiled, carpeted, or made of any other flammable material.

Pressure Vessels PRESSURE VESSELS MAY BURST! Compressed gas tanks or cylinders are designed and may be UM-coded according to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 rules. Pressure vessels may fail suddenly with a violent explosion that could cause serious injury, death, or property damage. All pressure vessels including compressed air tanks should be inspected once every two years.

Install the 4 (M) and (N) Casters on each of the 4 corners of the base plate using 4 of Screw (A) and 4 of Washer (E) for each caster. Note: Forney advises that the 2 locking casters (M) are installed on the rear of the baseplate next to the compressor cutouts as shown below.

Step 3: Place the Black Gas Cylinder Support (I) on Base Plate (K) lining up the holes on the tabs with the threaded holes on the base plate. Use 4 (A) Screws to secure the cylinder support in place. Step 6: Similar to the middle shelf, install Top Shelf (J) and slot the tab into the top gap on Cylinder Support (K) as shown in Figure 6.1 below. Install both (C) Bolts through the top holes of the Green Upright Supports (H) and into the middle shelf.

Step 7: Attach both Cable Hooks (Q) with 2 Screws (A) to any of the 12 accessory points on the sides and rear of the cart. Note: These accessory points are also designed for use with the Forney Accessory Tray (ITEM# 34501 - Sold Separately).
