Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap
privacy > SIM lock
Note: If you add a SIM card lock, you will be prompted to enter the PIN each time you swap SIM cards
or restart the phone.
1 Make sure you have the PIN your carrier provided with the SIM card. If you don't have it, contact
your carrier.
2 Tap the switch next to Lock SIM, then enter your carrier-provided PIN and follow the prompts to
set up a SIM card lock.
3 Tap Change SIM PIN and then follow the prompts to change the default SIM PIN.
Caution: If you enter an incorrect PIN multiple times, your SIM card will be disabled. To enable your
SIM card again, contact your carrier for a PIN Unlock Key (PUK).
Can't unlock?
If you forget your pattern, PIN, or password, you can enter your Google account email and password
on another device to unlock the phone.
If you don't have a Google account on your phone, contact your service provider to have your phone
factory reset.
Warning: A factory reset will delete all data on your phone.
Secure folder
Add apps and files to your secure folder to keep your sensitive data safe.
Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap
privacy > Secure folder

the Moto folder >
