Idle screen & symbols
After switching your phone on and entering the PIN
code (see page 8), your phone displays the idle screen
which means that it is ready to be used. In idle mode,
several symbols can be displayed simultaneously.

If the
symbol isn't displayed, the network is not cur-
rently available. You may be in a bad reception area:
move to a different location.
Q
Silent - Your phone
will not ring when
receiving a call.
V
Vibra - Your phone
will vibrate when re-
ceiving a call.
L
Keypad lock - Pro-
tects the keys from
being pressed acci-
dentally.

Main features

SMS message - You
have received a new
message.

Voice mail - You
have received a new
voice mail.
B
Battery - The bars
indicate the battery
level (4 bars = full, 1
bar = low).
GPRS attach - Your
mobile phone is con-
nected to the GPRS
network.

SMS full - Memory
for messages is full.
Delete old messages
to receive new ones.
F
Call Forward Un-
conditional
to
number - All your
incoming voice calls
are being forwarded
to a number other
than voice mail.

Roaming

played when your
phone is registered to
a network other than
your own (especially
when you're abroad).

Home zone - A zone
designated by your
network
operator.
