IMPORTANT NOTES

Avoid installing this unit in places exposed to direct sunlight or close to heat radiating appliances such as electric heaters, on top of other stereo equipment that radiates too much heat, places lacking ventilation or dusty areas, places subject to constant vibration and/or humid or moist areas. POWER SOURCE
This product is designed to operate on 230V 50Hz AC Mains only. Attempting to operate this system from any other power source may cause damage to the system, and such damage is not covered by your warranty.
AC SOCKET: Connect the AC power cord into AC connection socket and then insert the AC plug into a wall outlet. It is strongly recommended that this product be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label.

LISTENING TO FM RADIO

  1. Turn the unit ON, then rotate the AM I FM / BT selector to select FM.
  2. Rotate the Volume Knob to adjust your desired volume level.
  3. Rotate the TUNING knob to select your desired station.
  4. Adjust the antenna (located on back of unit) to get the best reception

LISTENING TO AM RADIO

  1. Turn the unit ON, then rotate the AM / FM / BT selector to select AM.
  2. Rotate the Volume Knob to adjust your desired volume level.
  3. Rotate the TUNING knob to select your desired station.

LISTENING TO AN EXTERNAL DEVICE (BLUETOOTH)

In Bluetooth Mode, this Unit can play music from external devices that are Bluetooth Compatible.

CONNECTING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE
Turn the unit ON, then rotate the AM / FM / BT selector to select BT.

  1. Rotate the Volume Knob to adjust your desired volume level
  2. Turn ON the Bluetooth function on your external device.
  3. Open Bluetooth settings on your external device. Note: The effective distance between your external device and this unit is 10 meters (33 ft).
  4. Wait a moment for "VRS-2800" to appear on the device list of your external device's Bluetooth setting, then select "VRS-2800i'. If your device asks for password enter then press "0K".
  5. When the Bluetooth connection as been established successfully you will hear audible beep and the LED Indicator will remain lit.
  6. Start playback through your external device.

BASS AND TREBLE CONTROL

Turn the Tone Control Knob to your desired preference.

  • To hear more Bass turn the knob to the left.
  • To hear more Treble tum the knob to the right.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom Possible Cause Solution
GENERAL
  • Unit will not power on

  • Unit is unplugged.
  • Connect the unit to the AC power supply.
  • No sound output from speakers

  • The volume level is set too low-
  • The input selector does not match the play back source,
  • Adjust the volume.
  • Select the correct input source.
  • Noise/Distortion in sound output

  • The unit is too close to a TV set or another interfering device.
  • Turn off the TV or other appliance and relocate the unit.
  • Unit fails to respond

  • It might result from external factors such as ESD (Electro-static discharge).
  • Disconnect the power cord and external audio device. Re-plug the power cord after one minute.
RADIO
  • Cannot listen to any station, or signal appears weak

  • The station is not tuned-in properly.
  • A TV set is being used nearby and is interfering with the radio reception.
  • Properly tune-in the desired station.
  • Turn-off the interfering TV set.
  • The sound is distorted

  • The antenna is not oriented properly.
  • Re-orient tho antenna until reception improves.
BLUETOOTH
  • No Sound

  • The unit is not switch to Bluetooth mode.
  • Your device's and/or the unit's volume not turn up.
  • Your device is too far from the unit or there is an obstacle between your device and the unit.
  • Ensure the unit is switched to BT mode.
  • Move your Bluetooth device closer to unit.
  • Turn up the volume on your portable device ot the unit.
  • Turn off your Bluetooth device and unit then power them both back ON.
  • Sound has a lot of static

  • Your device is too far away.
  • Bring your device closer to the unit.
  • Unable to pair with a Bluetooth device

  • Your device doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity,
  • The Bluetooth pairing is not successful.
  • Confirm that your device is Bluetooth compatible.
  • Repair the unit and device again.
