The protection provided by grounding
the instrument cabinet may be lost if
any power cable other than the three ­
pronged type supplied is used to couple
the ac line voltage to the instrument.

27. The operating environment should be within

Power Cable
23. In
accordance
with
international
safety
standards, this instrument is equipped with a
three-wire power cable. When connected to an ap ­
propriate ac power receptacle, this cable grounds
the instrument cabinet. The type of power cable
plug shipped with each instrument depends on the
country of destination. See
igure 3 for the part
numbers of the power cable plugs available.

SELECTION OF OPERATING VOLTAGE
. Open cover door and rotate fuse-pull to left.
Operating voltage is shown in module window.

3. Rotate fuse-pull back into normal position
and re-insert fuse in holders, using caution to
select correct fuse value.
2. Select operating voltage by orienting PC board
to position desired voltage on top-left side.
Push board firmly into module slot.
