Note: If you do not enable any wireless security on your G-1000 v2, your network is accessible to any
wireless networking device that is within range.
4 If you chose Basic(WEP) security in the
previous screen to setup WEP
encryption parameters:
Enter a Passphrase (up to 32 printable
characters) and click Generate and the
G-1000 v2 automatically generates a
WEP key.
Or
Enter a manual key in a Key field and
select ASCII or Hex WEP key input
method.
Select 64-bit WEP or 128-bit WEP from
the WEP Encryption drop-down list box
and click Next to continue or Back to go
back to the previous screen.
Click Next to continue.
5 If you chose Extend(WPA-PSK with
customized key) or Extend(WPA2-
PSK with customized key), you need
to configure a pre-shared key.
Enter a password made up of both
numbers and letters which is at least 8
characters long.
Click Next to continue.
