¢ FF/REW Operation
(1) The play idler gear is released from the torque
limiter large gear, and the FF/REW idler gear
meshes.
When the REV idler gear is released, the FF state
is obtained. The REW state is obtained when the
FWD idler gear is released. (The state is opposite
between FWD (PLAY) and REV (Reverse) in both
cases.)

FLYWHEEL
There are two (upper and lower) torque limiter large
gears. Both two FF/REW idler gears mesh simul-
taneously during FF/REW to generate large torque.
(Only one gear meshes during play.) (Figs. 24 and
