A
good
receiver,
tuned
to 21.225,
works
very
well
for
neutralizing
if an RF voltmeter is not available. Instead of
tuning for a minimum voltage, tune for a minimum S-meter
reading.
CAUTION
Neutralization
of
the
final section
should
be
carried
out
with
the
chassis
shield
in place.
Dangerous high voltages are present in the final
section when the transceiver is turned on.

CALIBRATION
The
VFO
should
be
calibrated
with
the
dial
pointer
calibrating
lever.
However,
if the
VFO
is too
far off
calibration
for the
lever to work
properly,
there
is an
internal VFO adjustment.
