Inserting the new PCB
i. Unscrew the battery compartment and
remove the battery.
iv. Remove the PCB from the front of the panel.
Note where the tamper spring is located to aid
fitting the new one on the V1 1 PCB.

Changing the PSU cover and cable
WARNING
ISOLATE SYSTEM MAINS SUPPLY
The mains supply should be isolated before changing
the PCB of the Enforcer however, it is imperative that it
is isolated and then wait at least 5 minutes
before removing the PSU cover.
The PSU cover is directly located next to the terminals
for the incoming 230VAC therefore the risk of
electrocution is increased.
ii. Unscrew the PSU cover from the top and
bottom and then remove the cover. Leave the
PSU board in place.
Discarding of old equipment - old cable, old PSU cover and Wi-Fi communications module (if applicable)
For electrical products sold within the UK and the European Community. At the end of the electrical products life, it should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where
facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice in your country.
ii. Unscrew the PCB cover and remove from the
rear of the front.
v. To prevent the keymat from falling out, is
recommended to keep the front face down as
this can be time consuming to put back in.
The new PSU cover provided must be
fitted as it has a metallised coating on
the inside.
This acts as a shield from the EMI
emissions of the PSU, aiding in system
Wi-Fi performance and in particular
WPS mode connection.
In order for the pink functional earth
wire to operate correctly, a protective
earth wire must be connected
alongside the incoming mains supply.

iii. Remove the old PSU cable then follow the steps to fit the new one.
a. Insert the plug with 2 wires into the PSU.
b. Connect the pink functional earth wire into the middle terminal of the
connector block of the incoming power.
c. The plug with 3 wires is plugged into the front of the Enforcer when
ready.
iii. Disconnect the piezo from the PCB and
unscrew the PCB from the back.
vi. Remove protective film from the LCD of the
new PCB and the fit extra tamper spring
supplied. Repeat steps 1-4 in reverse to put the
new PCB in.
i. Locate the PSU and its cover in the bottom left
corner.

iv. Replace the old PSU cover with the new
one provided.
