FOCUSING IN MATTE AREA
In the following situations, you cannot use the F.L
systenn, so it is necessary to focus manually using
the matte area of the focusing screen.
1. Subjects which the auto-focus system cannot measure
accurately or for which the camera does not display
the in-focus signal [ O).
2. Lenses with a maximum aperture smaller than f/5.6.
3. SMC PENTAX BELLOWS 100mm f/4, SMC PENTAX
SHIFT 28mm f/3.5 and reflex-type lenses.
