Welcome to Adande ® What is Aircell ® Aircell is a fresh approach to the display of food to go. It utilises a unique and patented air flow ® management system that significantly reduces cold air spillage from the cabinet.
The installation of the cabinet must allow for a 100mm air gap at the rear of the cabinet, • failure to do so will result in cabinet malfunction which Adande will no be held liable for. The room should be dry and sufficiently ventilated to allow good airflow around the •...
Bora Temperature Controller ® NOTE: The air probe on the Bora cabinet is set with a 4°C offset, this is because the air probe reads the return air temperature not the supply air. This allows the cabinet to run at maximum efficiency but still provide the customer with a sensible display read-out.
If the temperature does not return to normal an engineer should be called. Contact the service department: Adande ® Tel: 01502 537 135 option 1 Email: service@adande.com ADE- 2101 -E Page 10 of 19...
Cabinet Maintenance The Bora cabinet is virtually maintenance free other than periodic checking of the grilles, drain ® tray and cleaning of the shelves. DO NOT PRESSURE WASH APPLIANCE, THIS CAN DAMAGE THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. It is recommended that general cleaning should be performed at minimum monthly or in accordance with local codes.
Checking the Honeycomb Air Grille The Bora cabinet uses a honeycomb air grille to evenly distribute the air flow. The honeycomb is ® located at the top of the cabinet and under each of the Aircell shelves (figure 4a) it is possible, ®...
Cleaning the Containment Channel The return air grille (RAG) section of the Aircell shelves has been specifically designed to capture liquid spills and airborne dust, lint and pollen in the containment channel before entering the air ducts in the shelves. The containment channel has a cleanable wipe clean surface for the removal of dust, lint and liquid spills.
Cleaning the Discharge Air Grilles The discharge air grilles (DAG) are located at the top of the cabinet and under each of the Aircell shelves ® (figure 5) the honeycomb grille has been designed to enable it to be removed to facilitate cleaning of the air channel underneath, this air channel is designed to deposit all airborne contaminants such as dust, lint and pollen before its circulated around the system.
Figure 7a Figure 7b The cabinet can store any pre-packaged food product. Foodstuffs that give off acidic odours like vinegar, onions, etc. should be suitably sealed. Adande also recommends storage containers ® with liquid food products be stored with lids.
Night Blind The Bora cabinet is installed with a night blind as standard, closing the ® night blind when the cabinet is not in use, for example overnight will help reduce energy costs. When the night blind is pulled down it is securely held in position with a magnet positioned just above the bump rail see figure 6a.
Servicing & Warranty Service personnel must be suitably trained in refrigeration and experienced in servicing Adande ® products. Only use Adande Approved and Registered Service Engineers which can be supplied ® on request. Only original Adande parts supplied by the manufacturer should be used upon the cabinet.
