(-J Twist the two red leads together and con-
nect either lead to lug 3 (NS) and the other
lead
to lug 2 (NS)
of terminal
strip S.
(,) T2, Cut the leads of the output transformer
(#51-83) to the following lengths:

(7 Both black
do not cut
( 4 Strip 1/4" of insulation from the end of each
insulated lead and tin,
NOTE:
When
making a connection
with hookup
wire, 1/4" of insulation should be removed unless
directed otherwise in the step,

In the following
steps you may
wish to cut the
lengths
of wire
ahead
of time.
The
lengths of
hookup
wire
needed
for the wiring steps are
listed at the beginning of each section. Use the
white
insulated
hookup
wire
unless
bare or
twisted wire
is specified. Arrange the wires in
the
sequence
listed.
This
will
save
time
in
performing the wiring steps.
The lengths of twisted wires needed in the follow-
ing steps are:
( X 6" twisted pair,
(_¥ 25" twisted pair.
(p 19-1/2" twisted pair.
() 12-1/2" twisted pair.
( p 15" twisted pair.
( # 14" twisted pair.
( # 12-1/2" twisted pair.
( ff 10" twisted pair.
(4 12" twisted pair.
NOTE:
Refer to Pictorial
1 and the top of the
circuit
board
when
wiring
the bottom of the
circuit board,
This will facilitate locating the
holes as they are wired in the following steps,
(
At one end of a 25" twisted pair, connect the
white wire to lug 2 (S-2) and the black wire
_ to lug 3 (S-2) on terminal strip 8,
W) At the other end of this twisted pair, con-
nect the black wire to hole SW-1 (S-1) and
the white wire to hole SW-2
(S-1) on the
eircuit board,
Position this pair of wires
around the chassis as shown in Pictorial 1.
