¢ For CATV reception, use the cable and/or converter/decoder supplied
by the cable system operator.
Note to CATV system installer
This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer's attention to
Article 820-22 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding
and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to
the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry
as practical.
PREPARING THE REMOTE COMMANDER
| Battery installation
Install two size AA (IEC designation R6) batteries into the
battery compartment with the correct polarity.
¢ In normal operation, batteries will last up to half a year. If the unit does
not operate properly, the batteries might be exhausted. Replace all with
new ones.
* To avoid damage from possible battery leakage, remove the batteries
for extended unused periods.
© Be sure that there are no obstructions between the Commander and
the unit.
* Operable range is limited.
