RS70/85 Assembly
* Remove the RS70/RS85 unit and the accessories from the box and follow the instructions described below to
complete the assembly.
When attaching the Drum Trigger Module to RS70 using the supplied screws, a Phillips (+) screwdriver is required.
Please prepare one before starting assembly. (If you are the owner of the DTXPRESS IV, a screwdriver will not be
necessary.)

After removing the unit from the box, remove all cushion material.

Loosen the bolts marked with
before setting up.
3.
[RS85 only] Loosen the wing bolts (A and B), slide the leg base pipes (D) out for about 7 cm, and attach the
rubber feet (C) to the pipes.
Attaching Satellite Speakers, etc. may result in the rack in being heavily weighted to the backside and off-
balance. To prevent this from happening, make sure that after you attach the rubber feet (
least 3 cm gap between the rubber feet (

Loosen the bolts on the movable arms and legs, as shown in the diagrams below, then secure the bolts firmly
once setting is complete.
Follow the setup order (q–u for RS70, q–o for RS85) in the diagrams shown below.
Be careful around the pipe edges. The cut pipe ends are sharp and can injure your fingers.

Attaching the Drum Trigger Module
[RS70]
DTXPRESS IV: Make sure to use the module stand (I) and module stand fastening screws (J) included with the
DTXPRESS IV. Remove the module stand (E) attached to the RS70. This module stand with four holes doesn't
fit with the DTXPRESS IV. Attach the DTXPRESS IV mounted module stand (I) to the holder clamp (F).
* Make sure only the screws supplied with the DTXPRESS IV are used. Using any other screws may result in the
unit falling off the module stand or damage to the unit.
* The module stand included with RS70 is not needed when attaching the DTXPRESS IV; however, keep it in a
safe place for possible future use.
Other modules except the DTXPRESS IV: Remove the module stand (E) from the holder clamp (F), and use
the supplied screws (H) to attach the Drum Trigger Module (G). Reattach the module stand (E) to the holder
clamp (F).
* Make sure only the supplied screws are used. Using any other screws may result in the unit falling off the
module stand or damage to the unit.
[RS85]
Make sure to use the module stand (I) and module stand fastening screws (J) included with the DTXPRESS IV.
Attach the DTXPRESS IV mounted Module Stand (I) to the holder clamp (F).
* Make sure only the screws supplied with the DTXPRESS IV are used. Using any other screws may result in the
unit falling off the module stand or damage.
* The RS85 package doesn't contain the module stand having four holes, which is used to attach the other drum
trigger module than the DTXPRESS IV. If you need to use the four-hole module stand, please contact the
dealer from whom you purchased the unit.
6.
Attach the cymbal pad (K) to the cymbal holder (L) and adjust its position, then secure it in place. (Please refer
to the Owner's Manual that came with the cymbal pads on attaching the cymbal pads.)
7.
Attach the drum pad (M) to the hexagonal rod cylinder (N) and adjust its position, then secure it in place.
* Make sure all bolts on clamps, pads, etc., are firmly tightened. Loose or over-tightened bolts may result in the
part falling off and/or damage. Please use caution.
After assembly is complete, set up the kick pad, hi-hat pad, etc., and connect the cables. Use the supplied
cable bands to secure the cables to the frame pipes to keep cables out of the way during performance.
If the rack is moved even after setup is complete, make sure the bolts are loosened before moving the rack.

Montage RS70/85

Befestigen des Drum-Trigger-Moduls
[RS70]
DTXPRESS IV: Verwenden Sie in jedem Fall den Modulständer (I) und die zugehörigen Befestigungsschrauben
(J), die mit dem DTXPRESS IV geliefert wurden. Nehmen Sie den Modulständer (E) ab, der am RS70 ange-
bracht ist. Dieser Modulständer mit vier Löchern passt nicht mit dem DTXPRESS IV zusammen. Montieren Sie
den am DTXPRESS IV befestigten Modulständer (I) an der Halteklemme (F).
* Achten Sie darauf, dass nur die mit dem DTXPRESS IV gelieferten Schrauben verwendet werden. Die Verwen-
dung anderer Schrauben kann Schäden am Gerät verursachen oder dazu führen, dass das Gerät vom Modul-
ständer fällt.
* Der mit dem RS70 gelieferte Modulständer wird nicht für die Montage des DTXPRESS IV benötigt; bewahren
Sie ihn trotzdem für zukünftige Verwendung gut auf.
Andere Module außer DTXPRESS IV: Entfernen Sie den Modulständer (E) von der Halteklemme (F), und ver-
wenden Sie die beiliegenden Schrauben (H) zur Befestigung des Drum-Trigger-Moduls (G). Befestigen Sie den
Modulständer (E) wieder an der Halteklemme (F).
* Achten Sie darauf, nur die beiliegenden Schrauben zu verwenden. Die Verwendung anderer Schrauben kann
Schäden am Gerät verursachen oder dazu führen, dass das Gerät vom Modulständer fällt.
[RS85]
Verwenden Sie in jedem Fall den Modulständer (I) und die zugehörigen Befestigungsschrauben (J), die mit dem
DTXPRESS IV geliefert wurden. Montieren Sie den am DTXPRESS IV befestigten Modulständer (I) an der Hal-
teklemme (F).
* Achten Sie darauf, dass nur die mit dem DTXPRESS IV gelieferten Schrauben verwendet werden. Die Verwen-
dung anderer Schrauben kann Schäden am Gerät verursachen oder dazu führen, dass das Gerät vom Modul-
ständer fällt.
* Der Modulständer mit vier Löchern, der für die Montage anderer Drum-Trigger-Module als dem DTXPRESS IV
dient, gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang des RS85. Wenn Sie den Modulständer mit vier Löchern benötigen, wen-
den Sie sich bitte an den Händler, bei dem Sie das Gerät gekauft haben.
6.
Befestigen Sie das Cymbal-Pad (K) an dem Beckenhalter (L) und stellen Sie die gewünschte Position ein, und
ziehen Sie die Schrauben fest. (Bitte lesen Sie zur Montage der Becken-Pads die mit dem jeweiligen Pad gelie-
ferte Anleitung.)
7.
Befestigen Sie das Drum-Pad (M) an der Hexagonalstange (N) und stellen Sie die gewünschte Position ein, und
ziehen Sie dann die Schrauben fest.
* Achten Sie darauf, dass alle Bolzen und Muttern an den Klemmen, Pads usw. gut festgezogen sind. Lockere
oder zu fest angezogene Bolzen können Schäden nach sich ziehen oder dazu führen, dass montierte Teile her-
unterfallen. Seien Sie daher bitte vorsichtig.
Nachdem die Montage abgeschlossen ist, stellen Sie das Kick-Pad, das Hi-Hat-Pad usw. ein, und schließen Sie
die Kabel an. Verwenden Sie die beiliegenden Kabel-Clips, um die Kabel an dem Rohrrahmen zu befestigen,
damit die Kabel beim Spiel nicht im Weg sind.
Wenn das Rack nach Abschluss des Aufbaus noch bewegt werden soll, lösen Sie in jedem Fall die Bolzen,
bevor Sie das Rack bewegen.
