three-pronged
recessed
mate
connector
is
provided
on
the
back
panel
for
AC
power
connection
to
the
instrument.
Also
contained
in
this
assembly
is
a
1/2A
slow
blow
fuse
and
a
removable
card
that
can
be
removed
and
repositioned
to
switch
between
120V
AC
in
and
240V
AC
in.
2.0A
SB.
This
fuse
protects
the
output
stage
if
the
output
duty
cycle
rating
is
exceeded.

To
voltage
control
the
output
amplitude,
set
the
switch
in
the
EXT
position
and
apply
Oto
+10
Volts
between
terminal
A
and_=
ground
(Rrin>10K).
The
front
panel
controls
are
still
active
in
this
mode.

The
putse
generator
may
be
triggered
externally
in
a
PWourt
=
PWrn
mode
by
setting
the
switch
in
the
EXT
position
and
applying
a
TTL
level
pulse
of
the
desired
pulse
width
to
the
A
connector.
BCT
Option.
The
-BCT
option
provides
a
rear
panel
BNC
output
connector
which
provides
a
double
pulse
output
(TTL
Tevels).
The
pulses
are
200
ns_
wide
and
the
separation
between
the
leading
edges
is
variable
from
1
us
to
10
ms
via
a_
four
position
range
switch
and
a_
one
turn
control.
The
leading
edge
of
the
first
pulse
is
coincident
with
the
leading
edge
of
the
main
output
pulse.
The
double
pulse
output
is
provided
when
the
unit
is
triggered
externally
in
the
PWrn
=
PWout
mode
(and
also
when
triggered
internally).
