The Hum Eliminator e ectively addresses the common issue of 60Hz AC hum caused by ground loops, which act as
radio antennas (loop antennas). By breaking the ground loop, this device eliminates the possibility of signal lines
picking up AC hum and noise. Unbalanced lines are inherently more susceptible to picking up electrical noise and
RF interference compared to balanced lines. Additionally, the longer the unbalanced cable, the higher the likelihood
of encountering such problems. Utilizing this device to connect two pieces of equipment presents one of the most
cost-e ective solutions for converting between unbalanced signals and true balanced signals.
Furthermore, the Hum Eliminator automatically translates signal voltages to match di erences in ground potentials.
