The volume on your
amplifier
should
be
raised
only
after
the
power
on
every
connected
unit
has
been
turned
on.

The
SDE-330
is
equipped
with a
circuit
protection device.
A
brief interval after
power
up
is
required before
the unit
will
operate.

Each
time
power
is
turned
on,
the
Program
Number
that
was
last
selected
will
be
selected
again.
*
If
the
unit's
display
is
difficult to
read,
adjust the contrast
(p.
36).
Adjusting the Input Level
Use
the Input Level
knob
to
adjust the
level
of the
input
signals.
You
will
know
you have
the
correct
level
if
the
"OVER"
segments
of the
level
meter
do
not
light
(even
at
the
moments
of
peak
input).

Input Level
can be
set
independently
for
the
left
and
right
channels.

CAUTION:
Distortion
may
be produced
if
the ''OVER''
segments of
the
level
meter
light.
Adjusting the
Balance
for
Direct/Effect
Sounds
To
obtain the desried
sound, use
the
Balance
knob
to
adjust the
amount
of
direct signal
in
relation to
the
effect
sound.
By
rotating
the
knob
to either the
left
or
right
extremes,
you
can choose
to
have
only
the
direct,
or
only
the
effect
sound
output.
