low light movie camera. Your new camera is equipped with an electromagnetic
shutter release which lets you use it with different optionally available
accessories as a systems camera .
• The optional accessories which make the camera more versati Ie include a
Radio Control, Self-Timer, Interval Timer and Remote Control.
• Indoor filming is possible in normal lighting conditions without movie
lights; you w ill still get clear and sharp pictures.
These two big features are further enhanced by the increased size of -the
viewfinder and the compact size and reduced weight of the camera which
make it easier to operate .
The ES-44XL offers another possibility ; macrophotography.
• The macro zoom lens makes the filming of ultra close-ups easy without
any extra attachments.
The most important point in making good films is to understand the camera
completely. Read this instruction manual carefully and completely and
familiarize yourself with the camera's operation bef.ore you start filming .
PRECAUTIONS
• Be sure to set the power switch to OF F when you
are not using the camera so as not to waste the
battery power.
• Remove the batteries if you are not using the camera
for several weeks; battery leakage can cause corrosion.
• Insert the batteries correctly; incorrectly loaded bat-
teries will burn out.
