2. Product Introduction
The PIXIE Smart DALI Broadcast Controller is designed to control DALI drivers
(control gear) on the same DALI bus line via broadcast commands, meaning
that all DALI devices terminated to the PIXIE DALI controller will operate
synchronously, without the need to worry about DALI addressing and
programming. This control is inclusive of dimming and ON/OFF control*.
2.1 Product Features
• Compatible with DALI-2 and DALI drivers (control gear)
• In-built relay as optional control method
• PUSH DIM function allows control with a momentary switch
• Memory function restores the last state (on/off/dim level) of the lights from a
power outage
• One in-built set button, for easy testing and commissioning
• One LED indicator to reflect working status

4. Installation and Wiring
4.1 Preparation
-Set the DIP switches at desired position
-Make sure the loads are compatible (DALI
certified control gear) and within the rating
4.2 Installation (Licensed Electrician Only)
1. Disconnect power supply
2. Wire the product as per the wiring
diagram on the right***
3. Supply power to the circuit
4. Make sure the LED indicator is lit, then
press the Set button to test the control,
single press to turn ON/OFF, long press to
change brightness
*** The relay output (LOAD terminal) is recommended for connecting & disconnecting
power to the DALI drivers, for best control performance, even though it's optional.
