1.
Insert the crystal DC plug of the power adapter and telephone line cord into the corded base, as shown above.
2.
Snap the wall-mount bracket into the notches on the corded base's back.
3.
Insert the other end of the power adapter into a power outlet and the telephone line cord into a telephone wall
jack.
4.
Align the mounting slots on the corded base with the mounting posts on the wall. Then push in and down until
the phone is firmly seated.
1.5 Setting the display language
On the corded base:
1.
Press <MENU> and then <+/-> to select SETTINGS.
2.
Press <MENU> and then <+/-> to select LANGUAGE.
3.
Press <MENU> and then <+/-> to select the desired language.
4.
Press <MENU> to save the setting.
On the cordless handset:
1.
Press <MENU> and then <VOL+> or <REDIAL/VOL-> to select SETUP HS.
2.
Press <MENU> and then <VOL+> or <REDIAL/VOL-> to select LANGUAGE.
3.
Press <MENU> and then <VOL+> or <REDIAL/VOL-> to select the desired language.
4.
Press <MENU> to save the setting.
1.6 Setting date and time
On the corded base:
1.
Press <MENU> to select DATE & TIME.
2.
Press <MENU> and then <+/-> to change the year setting.
3.
Press <MENU> and then <+/-> to change the date setting. Repeat to set the time continuously.
4.
Press <+/-> to toggle AM/PM settings
5.
Press <MENU> to save the settings.
On the cordless handset:
1.
Press <MENU> to select DATE & TIME.
2.
Press <MENU> and then use the keypad to edit the year and the date.
3.
Press <VOL+> or <REDIAL/VOL-> or <PHONEBOOK> or <RIGHT/CALLS LIST> to move between the input
fields YEAR and DATE.
4.
Press <MENU> and then use the keypad to edit the time in 12HR format.
5.
Press <VOL+> or <REDIAL/VOL->to toggle AM/PM settings. And use <PHONEBOOK> or <RIGHT/CALLS
LIST> to move the cursor to the target input field.
6.
Press <MENU> to save the settings.
NOTE
If you have subscribed to your network provider's Caller ID service, date and time will be automatically set when a
call is received.
