How do you know how many gallons of water to put in since the HD4000 is not marked

The PetraTools HD4000 has a 4-gallon tank. If the tank is not marked, you can determine the correct number of gallons by measuring and adding water in known increments. For example, you can use a 1-gallon container to fill the tank, counting each addition until you reach the desired amount.

On/off switch doesn't turn on ?

To fix the on/off switch issue for the PetraTools HD4000, follow these steps:

1. Check the Switches – Ensure the red rocker switch and silver pressure knob are turned off when not in use. Leaving them on, especially while charging, can drain the battery. The silver pressure knob should click audibly when turned counterclockwise all the way.

2. Check the Indicator Lights – The red light indicates the unit is on, while the green light shows that the battery is charged. Verify that the lights function correctly.

3. Check the Fuse – Remove the fuse from the control panel and inspect it. Ensure there is no burning inside and that the filament is intact. Replace it with the included spare if needed.

4. Check the Battery Charge – Plug the charger into the unit. If charging correctly, the charger light will turn red.

Following these steps should help resolve the on/off switch issue.

How long does it take to fully charge the hd4000?

Is there a way to reduce the pump pressure to close to 20 psi. In spraying Roundup, I prefer to minimize drift by using lower pressure. I have used a 22.5 psi pressure control valve at the end of the wand, but the pump keeps turning on and shutting off, which has got to be hard on pump and pump switch.
