Only one program can be preset each day.
Before setting the timer
* Make sure the clock is set correctly (See
page 6).
« If you want to record a radio program .
make sure a cassette tape long enough
is inserted.
¢ For MHC-3300CD: under timer operation,
only Deck B is operative. Make sure a
cassette tape is inserted into Deck B in
TAPE or TUNER REC mode.
To change the timer program
1 Press TIMER SET.
2 Press NEXT until the item to be
changed biinks.
3 Change the program with '| or =.
4 Press NEXT.
On days when you do not want to
operate the timer program
Press TIMER CONTROL to turn off the
"TIMER" indication. Press TIMER
CONTROL again to reactivate the timer.
To select a radio station to be tuned in
After you select the TUNER or TUNER REC
mode, tune in the desired station before
turning off the power. At the preset time,
the selected station is automatically tuned
in.
When the power Is already on at the
preset time
The function mode will be automatically
changed to the preset one. even if you are
playing a program of another function
However, when you have preset to the
TUNER REC mode, recording will not be
performed even though the station 1s
tuned in. Be sure to turn power off before
the preset time for tuner recording
When you preset the TAPE or TUNER
REC mode
The tape deck always starts playback or
recording on the front side of the cassette
In timer operation, even if playback or
recording last stopped on the reverse side
