Push to stop the tape temporarily
during playback and recording.
During playback: Still picture.
During recording: To interrupt
recording.

Note:
When Pause and still is continued
for more than 5 minutes. it is auto-
matically cancelled for protection of
the tape. When either FF/Cue
playback, REW/Review playback or
slow playback is continued for more
than 10 min., mode returns to the
normal playback mode for protec-
tion of the tape.
The VCR Indicator (Red) blinks
during pause.

Q tracking _- TRACKING Button
When the playback picture is not
clear, push the TRACKING buttons
"a" and "v" to adjust for best picture.
Note:
When this button is pushed, the
mode tums to manual tracking
mode.
Mode returns to automatic tracking
mode when the tape is inserted.
