Optionally, you can choose where you want to begin reading by long
tapping a zone. In this view, the captured image is in full color. Selecting a
color mode changes the zone highlighting and numbering.

Text Mode button

In a document, you can press the gray Text Mode button to toggle through
viewing modes and determine the best way to read the current text. The
first viewing mode is set according to the default selected in the Viewing
Modes screen, where you also set the default highlighting and whether
lines or masks are used.
In an image, the gray Text Mode button toggles through lines, masks, or
neither.

Viewing Modes Screen

To change the way recognized text is displayed or highlighted by default:
1. Tap the screen to display the on-screen buttons.
2. Go to Main Menu > Settings > Appearance > Viewing Modes.
3. Toggle the top right button to select the default viewing mode. The
Viewing Modes screen displays a sample of the current viewing mode
while the toggle button displays the next mode in the cycle.
