SERVICE CONTROL ADJUSTMENTS
SUB-BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: +110V power supply, AGC and grey scale tracking
should be adjusted before attempting this adjust-
ment.
1. Tune the receiver to cross hatch pattern.
- 2. Set brightness to maximum and colour and contrast
to minimum.
VERTICAL SIZE ADJUSTMENT
1. Tune the receiver to circular pattern.
2. Adjust VR440 to obtain proper picture.
HORIZONTAL OSCILLATION ADJUSTMENT
1. Set horizontal hold (VR491) to mechanical centre of
: its range.
3. Connect D.C. meter between test points ''TP-H" (+ lead) 2. Connect a short jumper between test points "TP-M" and
and "'TP-G"' (— lead). "TP-R".
4. Adjust VR230 for 0.1V. . 3. Adjust VR410 to momentarily synchronize picture.
VERTICAL CENTRING ADJUSTMENT
1. Set vertical and horizontal hold controls for a properly
synchronized picture.
2. Vertical centring can be adjusted by connecting vertical
tip to anyone of three terminals.

HORIZONTAL WIDTH AND HIGH-VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT
NOTE:
+110V power supply, AGC and grey scale tracking should
be adjusted before attempting this adjustment.
. Tune the receiver to circular pattern.
2. Set brightness and contrast to maximum and colour to
minimum.
3. Check
picture width.
If picture is too wide or narrow,
cut or short the leads (AJ1, AJ2). In case the lead is cut,
horizontal
width will
be decreased
and the lead is
shorted, it will be increased.
4. Connect a high-voltage meter to anode on picture tube.
FOCUS ADJUSTMENT
Adjust focus control on the right side of the chassis for well
scanning lines.
+110V (+B1) POWER SUPPLY ADJUSTMENT
. Tune the receiver to colour bar pattern.
. Connect voltmeter to terminal "1T"'.
. Adjust VR301 for +110V.
recheck sub-brightness adjustment.
