The GX-2012 is designed to monitor: Lower
Explosive Limit (LEL), H

Normal Operation:

Press and hold the "Power" button, allow the
instrument approximately 10 minutes to
warm-up.

Fresh Air Calibration

Move to a clean air location, attach the zero filter to the end
of the inlet. Press and hold "Air" button, release when
prompted.

Perform a Bump-Test:

Instrument should be in normal operation mode.
Connect the gas standard to the inlet and allow the values to
stabilize, if values do not approximately equal printed gas
values consider recalibration.

Charging the Instrument:

A charging dock and AC power adapter are provided with
your rental. A red LED light on the dock indicates the instru-
ment is connected to power and is charging. Ensure the in-
strument is charged after daily use
