CASSETTE DECK/VCR operation
Press the MODE

VCR button, and operate as desired using
the following buttons.
Both the cassette
deck and VCR

not be used at the
same time.

VCR]
When operating a double cassette deck, the deck || must
be operated.
@) POWER
Use to turn ON/OFF the power of the cassette deck and
VCR.
(Cannot turn ON/OFF some cassette decks.)

Pauses playback and recording (sets still pictures).
Rewinds the tape. Pressing this button during playback
will start fast rewind playback.

Stops tape running.

Starts playback.

Fast forwards the tape. Pressing this button during play-
back will start fast forward playback.
[VCR only]
@ CHANNEL +, -
Changes the channels of the TV tuner in the VCR.
(8) Number buttons
Used for selecting the channels of the TV tuner in the
VCR.
@) TV/VCR
Used to switch the VCR antenna output to TV or VCR.
(® @ (ENTER)
Sets the channels selected using the Number
buttons.
(Some models may not require this step.)
[Cassette deck only]
For double cassette decks, the (8) Number buttons can be
used to operate deck 1 also.
(Some models cannot be operated.)

Fast forwards the tape in the direction of the arrow.
(2) (1m)
Stops tape running.

Plays back.
(4) (b>)
Fast forwards the tape in the direction of the arrow.
Pressing (2) if and @ @ simultaneously will also set REC
for the VCR and cassette deck.
REC cannot be set for deck 1 of double cassette decks.
