Programming the remote ANS ID
The remote ANS ID is used to access your answering device from a remote location with a touch tone
telephone.
Choose any number from 111 to 999 except a number including "0".
Make sure that the first 2-digit number of the remote ANS ID is different from the junk mail prohibitor ID.
Enter the desired
number (111—999).

e We recommend that you do not use seven (7) as an ID number, because this number is used as the
greeting message re-recording command for remote operations.
Listening to the recorded messages in the common memory ——
@ Call your unit.
—The unit will play the greeting message.

@ Press the remote ANS ID during the common
greeting message.
—A long beep and a short beep(s) will sound.
Short beep(s) indicate(s) the number of
newly recorded messages.

Short beeps will sound up to 8 times even if
9 or more calls are recorded.

Note:
e if you hear 6 beep tones after playing back
messages, the memory is full. You must erase
some or all messages.
1. Press X and 1, 2 or 3 (desired mailbox number).
2. Press the mailbox password.
3. Press 4 (for new message playback) or 5 (for all message playback) to play back messages.
