IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
This appliance is designed for cooking rice and for keeping cooked rice warm.
This appliance is designed for domestic use and similar locations such as:
staff kitchens in stores, offices and other workplaces;
hotel or motel rooms and other living areas;
bed and breakfast establishments.
Only use the appliance with original accessories from the manufacturer.
The appliance must be located on a stable and even surface.
Do not place the appliance on or near an electric or gas stove or other sources of heat.
Connect the appliance only to a grounded socket.
Before connecting this appliance to a power socket ensure that:
the rated voltage on the rating label is the same as the electrical voltage in the power socket.
the removable bowl is filled with an appropriate amount of rice and water and that it is correctly
seated inside the outer pot.
Do not start the appliance without the lid being properly placed on it.
Attention:
Do not pour rice or water into the outer pot.
During operation there needs to be sufficient area for air circulation above the appliance and
around it.
When using the appliance, the outer pot, the removable bowl and the lid heat up. Do not touch
the hot surface. Use the handle and grip when handling the pot or lid.
Always turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power socket if you leave it without
supervision if you are not using it and before cleaning.
Allow the appliance to fully cool down before moving, cleaning or storing it.
Regularly clean the appliance after each use according to the instructions in the chapter Cleaning
and maintenance.
To avoid possible injury by electrical shock, do not clean the outer pot or the power cord under
running water and do not submerge in water or any other liquid.
Do not disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling on the power cord. This could
damage the power cord or the socket. Disconnect the appliance from the power socket by gently
pulling the plug of the power cord.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised service centre or by a similarly
qualified person, this will prevent dangerous situation from arising.
Do not use the appliance if it does not function properly or is damaged in any way. To avoid the
danger of injury by electrical shock, do not repair the appliance yourself or make any adjustments
to it. Have all repairs or adjustments of the appliance performed at an authorised service centre.
Tampering with the appliance during the warranty period may void the warranty policy.
