Wi-Fi turned ON on your Phone at all times. Please note Monimoto is not a ‘real time’ tracking device. It does not have a constant connection with the cellular network and is not constantly sending its location. Monimoto connects to the cellular network and sends locations only when Alarm mode is triggered. -

4.5 REGULAR STATUS UPDATES Monimoto regularly performs a battery check and updates status to your phone. TRACKER KEEPS ON GOING OFF, SAYING IT IS MOVING, EVEN WHEN NEAR THE TRACKER WITH TAG, I HAVE CHANGED BATTEREY AND MADE SURE MONIMOTO 9, IS CHARGED UP. ALSO IS THERE A SLEE MODE ON THIS UNIT.
The Monimoto 9 tracker may keep indicating movement even when the tag is nearby if the tag is not detected properly, possibly due to signal interference or incorrect placement. It does not have a traditional sleep mode but stays in Armed Mode, waking up only when movement is detected and the Key Fob is not nearby. It is not a real-time tracker and only connects to the network when in Alarm Mode.
