6. Ivow EQ Conirok (Bass):
Active equalization control that adjusts the low frequency lesfunse. Clockwise rotation boosts lows while
counterclockwise rotation provides a cut (reducikn) of the low frequencies (±10 dB).
7. Contour Switch:
The "in" position of this switch provides 10 dB boost at MX) Hz and 6 <JB boost at K) kHz. The "out"
rM»Mtu>n removes boost from the
sysKm.
8. Master:
Controls the overall volume level erf the system.
9. Ptwer On
Indicates when AC power is beir^ supplied lo the unit.
lO.Pimvr Switch:
Depress to "on" position to turn on.

REAR PANEL CONNEC TIONS:
11. Mute C'onlrul;
These connections allc»w control over the imemal mute comm) circuitry. To enable muting, connect the
GND terminal to the ENABLE terminal. This will allow the MIC I signal to mute the AUX I and AUX
2 channels. Muting of the AUX channels can be selectively disabled internally by moving the iwo^irvuii
jumpers as shown in Fig. 3. To disable muting of the AUX I channel, mtwe the two circuit jumper on
HDR KX> u> the position shown
by
(he arrow in Fig. 3. To disable muting of the AUX 2 channel, move
(he two circuit jumper on HDR 200 (o (he position shown in Fig. 3. External muting of the AUX channels
is also possible by connecting a normal]) open switch from (he GND terminal to the EXT terminal. See
Fig. 4.
(2.Es(crimk MicMer Volume:
These terminals allow connection of an exiemal volume control. To gain complete con(n>l of volume from
the external volume control, (he front panel Ma.Mer Volume control must be sA m maximum. The external
volume control should be connected as shown in Fig. 5.
13. MIC Inputs:
The input connections arc configured to allow Low Z. High
Z.
Balanced, and Unbalanced microphones
to be connected to (he ^stem. XLR as well as screw terminals are provided fiir Low Z balanced inputs.
Screw terminals arc also provided
for
High
Z
microphone ctMinectkm. See Fig. 6 and 7.
14. Auxiliary Inputs:
The AUX 1 and AUX 2 inputs are made through these two jacks. These line inputs are provided to input
any line level signal, such as background music from a (ape or luncr output.
