    1. Intended Purpose The NOVAERUS Infection Control Unit NV800 is intended for the purpose of reduction in pathogens, harmful mould and allergens in the air. This equipment is suitable for use in Hospitals and Long-term care facilities. The intended use of Novaerus NV800 device includes intensive care units (ICU), high dependency units (HDU), and other health institutions, including isolation rooms and single patient rooms such as operating suites (OR).

    The metal frame grid should be facing towards the rear of device as shown in the image below. An Additional Screen has been provided for each unit to allow for rotation during the cleaning process. The NV800 unit should not be operated without the Intake Filter Screen in place. Service Do not open the tamper proof screws on the casing of the unit.

  • Page 12 If the measured field strength in the location in which the NV800 is used exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the NV800 should be observed to verify normal operation. If abnormal performance is observed, additional measures may be necessary, such as re-orientating or relocating the NV800.
