Using the Sharpener
Note: Place the whole sharpening system on the flat, dry and sturdy platform.
Note: When the knife is held on the multifunctional base by the magnetic force, please make
sure that the knife slightly exceeds the height of the multifunctional base. This enables smooth
sharpening with the roller. For very large knives that protrude significantly above the upper
edge of the multifunctional base, place an additional board under the roller for sharpening.
1. Firmly hold the Multifunctional Base and hold
the knife to the desired side of the magnetic
angle support(A), the blade edge should be
facing upward and higher than the magnetic
angle support.
2. Put the 400# diamond grinding disc against
the edge, and gently roll the sharpener back
and forth to grind the dull blade(B).
3. Then turn over the knife over (still with the
blade facing upwards), attach it to the desired
magnetic angle support(C), and repeat the
previous grinding for the other side of the
blade.
4. Polish or fine the blades with replacing the
discs and deburr the blade with the leather
strop for a complete sharpening.
USING TIPS
Use just a light pressure for sharpening.
For larger knives, use a chopping board to
elevate the sharpener, and sharpen while
rolling gently against the cutting edge.
If your knife is very dull, please grind on the
Tungsten Sharpening Slot for 5-10 times first,
then grind on the Ceramic Polishing Slot for
5-10 times. (Don't slide the knife on the slots
backward and forward. Just slowly pull the
knife straight back with the handle towards
yourself(D).)
