Operation
• B eforeconnectingtheappliancetothemains,makesurethatallswitchesaresettothe"OFF"position.
• Inserttheplugoftheheaterintothemainsocket.
• Adjustthethermostattoadesiredtemperaturelevel.
• Turn on the heating element using the two rocker switches on the side panel. They will illuminate when the heating ele-
ments are on.
• The third rocker switch can be used to turn the fan on to circulate warm air in the room when the heating elements are on.
• The fan can be used with the heating elements switched off to help circulate cool air. The switch will illuminate when the
fan is on.
Note: I tisnormalwhentheheateristurnedonafteraperiodofnouseforittoemitsomeodour.Thiswilldisappearafterthe
heater has been on for a short time.

• Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with that of the local network before connecting the appli-
ance to the mains power supply.
• T oavoidfireorshockhazard,plugtheappliancedirectlyintoasuitable220-240VACelectricaloutlet.DONOTuseanex-
ternaltimer,separateremotecontrolsystem,andextensioncableorexternaladaptorwiththeappliance.Donotoverload
the circuit.
• This heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
• Todisconnecttheappliance,turnthecontrolswitchto"OFF"BEFOREremovingtheplugfrommainpoweroutlet.
• Whenunplugging,besuretopullbytheplugandnotthecord.
• Alwaysunplugtheappliancewhennotinuse.
Note: the timer clock will require re-setting to the correct time if power is disconnected.
• D iscontinueuseifplugoroutletbecomeshot.Itisrecommendedthattheoutletbecheckedandreplacedifplugoroutlet
is hot to touch.
• D onotabuseordamagethepowercord.Fullyunwindthecordbeforeuseasacoiledcordmayoverheat.Donotallow
the supply cord to touch hot surfaces.
• D ONOTruncordundercarpeting.DONOTcovercordwiththrowrugs,runners,orthelike.Positionthecordawayfrom
trafficareaandwhereitwillnotcauseatriphazard.
• Ensurethatthesupplycordiskeptawayfromheatorsharpedgesthatcouldcausedamage.
• D ONOTinsertorallowforeignobjectstoenteranyventilationorexhaustventopeningasthismaycauseanelectric
shockorfire,ordamagetotheappliance.
• D ONOToperatetheappliancewithadamagedcordorplug,oraftertheappliancemalfunctions,hasbeendroppedor
damagedinanymanner.Ifthesupplycordisdamaged,DONOTattempttoservicethisapplianceyourself.Returnittoa
qualifiedserviceagentformechanicaladjustment,orrepair.
