(6) months. All sheet metal cladding applied to the VersaTube frame are attached with self drilling screws with a rubber washer. These screws produce small shavings when drilling through the cladding. If the shavings are al- lowed to sit on the sheet metal for an extended period, rust spots will form and promote deterioration.
ATTENTION: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THE FOLLOWING NOTE NOTE: If during the installation process you have difficulty fitting frame components together, use an adjustable wrench to open the end of the receiving tube as shown below. Close wrench down around bent portion of tube and bend wall outward.
Front Enclosure Assembly STEP 1: ASSEMBLE BOTTOM RAIL AND L-CONNECTOR Assemble a 2”x2” bottom rail to a L-Connector (71-FE-L), making (2) assemblies (do not screw together at this time). Place (1) assembly in each front corner of the structure as shown. Fasten the bottom rail to the structure’s side base rail with a BK- 10 Angle Bracket and (6) framing screws.

Front Enclosure Assembly (continued) STEP 3: ASSEMBLE DOOR VERTICALS If the structure is over 7.5’H, the door jambs will be made of (2) pieces: a cut length 2”x3” and a swaged (reduced end) height extension. The height extension length is determined by the height of the structure (on Front Enclosure Diagram pag- es).

Front Enclosure Assembly (continued) STEP 5: ATTACH DOOR HEADER Make a mark on the door opening side of both Door Jamb Verticals at either 81 3/4” or 84” (depending on enclosure) from (Note: It is advised to use two people to lift, position and attach the Door Header Assembly.) the bottom of the L-Connectors.
Back Enclosure Assembly STEP 1: ASSEMBLE BOTTOM RAILS AND T-CONNECTORS Loosely assemble all Base Rail parts: T-Connectors, and Bottom Rails (quantity and lengths described on Back Enclosure Diagram pages). Place the loose assembly on the ground or slab at the back of the building with the pins on the T- Connectors in the vertical position.

Back Enclosure Assembly (continued) STEP 3: ASSEMBLE VERTICAL TUBES Every T-Connector receives: (1) 74-8175 - 2”x2”x81 3/4” tube with 4 3/4” swage and (1) 2”x2” cut length tube. Place a Swaged Vertical on top of each T-Connector, then place a Cut Vertical on top of each Swaged Vertical. Use a level to posi- tion and square each vertical.
