Therefore, check the machine for possible transport damage when unpacking it. Warning Safety instruction! Do not remove the cutting edge guard (on the EFA 800) until just before start-up. 5.1.1 Preparing the carving knife for use With the EFA 802 carving knife, the blade must first be mounted on the drive. See chapter 6.2. EFA 800 (see Fig. 5.1) 1) Push on the air hose (1) as far as it will go. -

At the end of slaughtering, the carving knife must be cleaned. Trouble-free continuous operation can only be guaranteed if the EFA carving knife is kept perfectly and hygienically clean at all times. In the normal course of events, the device should be disinfected before each use. -

Sharpening can also be carried out on commercially available automatic sharpening machines or on our blade sharpening device "ES 60 F" or our blade grinding machine "KSE 74", which are available as accessories.
