Buttons used for normal TV operations
@ Transmitter
Point toward the remote control detector.
@ Pilot lamp
Blinks when the Remote Commander is operating.
If the lamp does
not
light when
the button
is pressed,
battery
replacement is required.
© ft (sound mute) button
When you want to mute the sound (to answer the telephone, for in-
stance) press this button. To restore the sound, press this button
again.
© Program number buttons
Programs are selected by pressing the corresponding numbers.
For programs
1 through 9, press the appropriate single-digit but-
ton.
For programs
10 through 19, first press the [1-] button, then the
button corresponding to the last digit of the program. number.
For example:
for program 10, press
and [0] ;
for program 11, press
and [1].
Similarly, for programs 20 to 29, press the [2=] buttons and then
the single-digit button.
For program 30, press the [0] button.
Note:
If you
do not
press
a single-digit
button
within
several
seconds after pressing the
or [2—] button, the previous pro-
gram setting will be automatically recalled.
© @ (color) buttons
Adjust the color intensity. Press the + button to increase it, or the
— button to decrease it.
O @ (picture) buttons
Function the same as the @ buttons on the TV. Press the + button
to increase the picture contrast, or the — button to decrease it.

@ >¢=< (normal) button
Pressing this button once instantly returns the color and contrast
settings made with the @ and @ buttons on the Commander to the
factory preset levels.
© © (standby) switch
Turn the TV in standby mode. The @ indicator on the TV will light
up. To turn on the TV from the standby mode, press a program
number button or -e< button on the Commander.
© VIDEO button
This button is not usable for this TV.
When this button is pressed, "AU" will momentarily light on the TV
screen, but will immediately disappear.
@® AIB button
This button is not usable for this TV.

(display) button
Press this button to extinguish the program
number. Then, each
time you press the PROGR
button to change the program, the in-
dications on the screen will disappear in a few seconds. To display,
press again.
® PROGR (program) buttons
Function the same as the PROGR buttons on the TV.
® = (volume) buttons

Adjust the volume. Press the + button to increase the volume, or
the — button to decrease it.
