    ASIX Electronics provides a Windows Mass Production Tool for users to easily program the eFuse and Flash of AX88179A & AX88772D applications on a typical Windows PC. This Windows mass production tool supports to customize the MAC address, Serial Number, Vendor ID and Product ID, etc.

    If the eFuse.ini file is not existent in the same subdirectory of AX88179A_772D Mass Production Tool folder, users will see the following warning dialog while running .exe .     The test results will be displayed in the “Result” window after programming eFuse completely.     PS: AX88179A and AX88772D USB Ethernet controller are compatible with AX88179 Window inbox driver, you will see the "ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" message showed in the Device Manager when AX88179A or AX88772D device is plugged into the USB host. Please update properly driver as this section description.

    ASIX Electronics provides a mass production function for users to run some basic network function tests and program the eFuse and Flash of their AX88179A & AX88772D based application systems during production. This tool is used for testing AX88179A & AX88772D products.

  • Page 27 Mass Production User Guide The mass production function supports 7 test and 2 program items. 1. USB3.0 Test This test will check USB3.0 function of AX88179A. 2. PING Test This test will run the Ping Test with Server PC. 3. 1000Mbps Full-Duplex Test This test will let network auto-negotiates at 1000Mbps Full-Duplex, and then starts sending packets to test server.
