Digital television (DTV) is a new way of transmitting high quality video and audio to
)7ol:LrTV set. Using DTV, broadcasters can transmit high definition TV (HDTV) images

Digital Picture Quality
DTV programs arc transmitted m two difierent f_wnmts. The tirst is Standard Definition
Tch'vision (SDTV) and the' second is High Definition Teh'vision (HDTV).
