Cleaning the lint filter
Ensure the lint filter is in place whenever
drying. It must be cleaned before each
use.
1. Removing the filters
There are four holes around the shroud,
so you can insert your fingers. The filter is
made up of three parts: the exhaust vent
shroud, the lint filter and the exhaust filter
(refer to Fig. 1).
2. Cleaning the filter
Using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner,
clean the lint on the lint filter and exhaust
filter. Be careful not to damage the filters
(refer to Fig. 2).
3. Reinstalling the filter
After cleaning, assemble in this order:
exhaust filter, lint filter and exhaust vent
shroud. Align the recesses in the center of
each filter component with the projection
in the center of the drum. Ensure it is
firmly inserted (refer to Fig. 3).
Note: Using a soft brush, clean the
filter fixed at the bottom of the drum.
Cleaning the air intake filter
Clean the filter at least once a month.
Remove the filter by pulling outwards,
holding the upper and lower ends of the
air intake shroud firmly. Take out the filter
from inside the shroud. Use a soft brush
to clean the filter thoroughly. Place the
filter back inside the shroud, ensuring it is
properly aligned and securely in place.
Slightly push upwards with your thumb –
the latch hook will disconnect, so you can
remove it.
Cleaning the inside and outside of the
dryer
Do not wash directly in water.
Do not use thinner, gasoline or alcohol.
When cleaning the inside, do not use any
type of spray cleaners. To clean stains on
the drum, use a damp cloth.
Before drying the next load, remove any
residue. Clean the cabinet with mild soap
and water. Do not use harsh or abrasive
cleaners – this could damage the dryer.
WARNING: Regularly
clean the lint trap
