SYSTEM ERROR
DRIVE ERROR

(PUSH SHTR TO FORMAT)
DELETE ERROR
FORMAT ERROR
Phenomenon
Failed USB handshake.
Failed to initialize the
drive.
Failed to write.
Failed to read.
Unsuitable disk.
Failed to delete the file.
Failed to format the disk.
Solution
If, after Power Switch is set to
OFF, then REC or PLAY again,
SYSTEM ERROR is still
displayed, the camera may be
broken and needs repair.
If, after Power Switch is set to
OFF, then REC or PLAY again,
DRIVE ERROR is still displayed,
the camera may be broken and
needs repair.
if the problem occurred while
capturing, please capture again.
If WRITE ERROR is still
displayed, the disk may be
defective, or could not be read.
Please reinsert the disk or
change disks. If the problem
occurred while setting a COPY
or PRINT MARK, please try
again. If WRITE ERROR, repeat
this procedure.
The camera cannot read this
image. Press + or - button to play
the next image. A READ
ERROR file cannot be delete in
DELETE menu. Please format
the disk, or delete with the PC.
If PUSH SHTR TO FORMAT is
displayed, you may format the
disk. If PUSH SHTR TO
FORMAT is not displayed, the
disk cannot be formatted. (Disks
that can be formatted were once
formatted under DOS or Mac.)
If, after attempting to delete
again, DELETE ERROR is
displayed, the disk may be
defective. Change disks.
If, after attempting to format
again, FORMAT ERROR is
displayed, the disk may be
defective. Change disks.
