SOUND SETTINGS
To change beep frequency, press the KEEP
WARM and START/CANCEL buttons
simultaneously for three seconds and one of
the temperature buttons on the left from the last
setting will illuminate.
Select the desired beep frequency from the
5 different temperature buttons.
The temperature selection is in descending
beep frequency, with the 212 °F (100 °C) having
the highest and loudest beep.
Press the START/CANCEL button to confirm the
beep selection.
If no temperature button is selected to set the
desired beep frequency within 10 seconds, the
kettle will go on standby mode.
NOTES
• The default temperature setting of the kettle
when switched on at the power outlet is
212 °F (100 °C). When the kettle is switched
off at the power outlet and switched back on,
it will automatically default to the 200°F (95°C)
temperature setting.
• When the kettle remains switched on at the
power outlet and different temperature settings
have been selected, the kettle will default to the
last selected temperature setting.
• This kettle must be used only with the power
base supplied. Use caution when pouring water
from your kettle, as boiling / heated water and
steam will scald. Do not pour the water too
quickly.
• Always fill the kettle to between the minimum
and maximum marks on the vessel. Filling
above the maximum mark on the water window
of the kettle may result in boiling/heated water
splashing from the kettle.

KEEP WARM FUNCTION
The Smart Crystal Luxe™ kettle offers
a convenient KEEP WARM function that can be
used before, during or on completion of the water
heating cycle. When the water has reached the
selected temperature, the KEEP WARM function
will hold the selected temperature for 20 minutes.
If the 212 °F (100 °C) button is selected when
using the KEEP WARM function, the boiled water
will remain at approximately 200 °F (95 °C) for
20 minutes. To activate the KEEP WARM function,
first press the desired water temperature button
from the five options on the control panel. Then
press the KEEP WARM button, followed by the
START/CANCEL button to commence heating
the water. Alternatively, the KEEP WARM button
can be activated at any time during the heating
cycle and/or within one minute after the heating
cycle has completed. If the kettle is removed
from the power base during the KEEP WARM
function the kettle will automatically switch off.
NOTE
If temperature is changed during the KEEP
WARM function, the START/CANCEL button
surround will illuminate in red.
