Removing the battery

If you need to remove the battery:
1 Remove the back cover.
2 Push the battery catch towards the bottom of the
phone (1)
3 Lift the battery off the phone (2).
4 Install a new battery and replace the cover in the
same way as when you install a SIM card.

Charging the battery

Do not charge the battery when the back cover of the phone is removed.
1 Connect the charger to an ac wall outlet.
2 Connect the lead from the charger to the
bottom of your phone.
If the phone is switched on, the text
Charging is displayed briefly and the
charging indicator bar starts scrolling. If the
battery is completely flat, it may take a few
minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display.
Charging the battery supplied with the phone takes about two hours when using the
ACP-12 charger. If Not charging is displayed, wait for a while, disconnect the charger,
plug it in again and retry. If charging still fails, contact your dealer.
You can use the phone during charging.
3 When the battery is fully charged, the charging indicator bar stops scrolling.
Disconnect the charger from the AC wall outlet and the phone.

Switching the phone on and off

Warning: Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited
or when it may cause interference or danger.
Press and hold the power key
• If the phone asks for a code (PIN, UPIN, or security code),
key in the code and press OK.
• If the phone displays Insert SIM card even though the
SIM card is properly inserted, or SIM card not supported,
contact your network operator or service provider. Your
phone does not support 5 Volt SIM cards.
